Seeking Artists

Seeking Shleimut: A Postpartum Deck of Jewish Wisdom will offer hope, healing, and wholeness (shleimut) through the joys and oys of early parenthood.

Drawing from Jewish stories, symbols, siblings and species, this deck of 40 kavanah (intention) cards will guide new parents through a sacred grounding practice in the first 40 days after birth and beyond.

We are currently seeking visual artist(s) who will design the Jewish symbols on the cards. All mediums are welcomed. Artists should be passionate about the mission of this project and the sacredness of the postpartum experience. They should align with our values of radical inclusion and creative agency in Jewish ritual. Artists will be considered on a rolling basis. 

• Compensation: $500-$2,000,  depending on how many card symbols designed ($50/design, 10 designs minimum)

• Projected Timeline: Designs completed by March 2026
