1) Meeting Registration

Register here: NESDB 2023 Registration

You will need your SDB ID number to register at the member rate. You can join SDB, check when your membership expires, or renew it at the SDB Membership Portal

The meeting registration deadline is April 15th, 2023.

2) Abstract Submission

Submit your abstract here (after you register): NESDB 2023 Abstract Submission

Abstract submission instructions: The entire abstract must be one paragraph only. There is a 2000 character limit (with spaces) for the abstract text. Include any funding sources in the last sentence of your abstract.

The abstract submission deadline is April 15, 2023. However, for full consideration for a short talk, abstracts should be submitted by April, 6th, 2023.


There will be prizes! To be eligible for an undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral short talk and poster prize you must be a registered SDB member at the time of abstract submission. 


Poster Guidelines: Poster size is 40 inches (wide) x 60 inches (long) vertical orientation.  


3) Register for Housing and Meals

Housing and meals can be booked here: MBL housing

MBL is updating the online credit card payment. In the meantime, you can pay via credit card by calling the MBL housing office at 508-289-7668. 



Cancelation policies

Individual Cancelation, Refund Policy

Applications to cancel conference participation must be provided in writing and accompanied by a copy of the registration receipt. A $50 non-refundable processing fee will be deducted from the refund.  The request must be sent to jennifer_fish@uml.edu by April 1st, 2023. After April 1st, additional fees may be applied. 

  

If the Meeting is Canceled

We anticipate that NESDB 2023 will be a full, in-person event. If NESDB is canceled, the full registration fee will be returned to each registrant. Housing and meal charges will also be reimbursed by the MBL.
