Neru does not collect any personal data. The app runs entirely locally on your device.
All your data — sleep records, alarms, sound mixes, and preferences — is stored only on your device. No data is sent to an external server.
Neru estimates your sleep from your own use of the app (when you start the timer and when you wake up). It does not use any sensor, microphone, or health service. Because sleep data is sensitive, it never leaves your device.
Bedtime reminders and alarms used by the app are local. They are generated by your device and do not pass through any third-party server.
Sounds imported into the mixer (MP3 files) and custom alarm ringtones are copied and stored only on your device. These files do not leave your device unless you share them yourself.
No data is shared with third parties, advertisers, or partners.
The backup feature generates a single JSON file (settings, alarms, and sleep records) stored locally on your device. This file does not leave your device unless you share it yourself. Imported audio files are not included in the backup.
