NERTEC is offering hotel block rates at excellent hotels in close distance to Boston University.

Public Transportation

• Boston University is located on the MBTA Green Line (B) 

  • • The College of Fine Arts (855 Commonwealth Ave) is located off of the Amory Street station

    • BU Bands (300W Babock Street) is located off of the Babcock Street station

• The Green Line has tap-to-pay capabilities, so you can pay at the turnstile as you enter an underground station, or as you walk onto the railcar if entering an above-ground station.

• The MBTA buses also have tap-to-pay capabilities.

• The MBTA buses and subways are a safe and reliable way to traverse Boston (but give yourself plenty of time!)

Parking

Parking on Campus

• There are metered spots along Commonwealth Avenue, but they have a 4-hour limit until 8pm Mon-Sat.

• Street parking is free and without time restrictions on Sundays.

• Agganis Arena Garage (925 Commonwealth Ave)

  • • NERTEC guests who will be driving to campus are encouraged to use the Agganis Arena Garage.

      • • Friday 3/6: $28 daily maximum, or $14 if after 3pm.

        • Saturday and Sunday 3/7-8: $14 daily maximum

        • The garage hours are 7am-11:59pm.
