After breakfast, step into the spiritual heart of Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath Temple - a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and one of the most significant Shiva shrines in the world
Boudhanath Stupa - one of the largest stupas on earth and a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists
Lunch at a local restaurant near the palace area, then the drive continues toward Nagarkot - a hill station perched at 2,100 metres, famous for its sweeping Himalayan views, including Mt. Everest on a clear day.
En route, stop in Bhaktapur, a living museum of medieval Nepal.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square - a UNESCO World Heritage Site of courtyards and centuries-old architecture
Nyatapola Temple - one of the tallest pagoda-style temples in Nepal
Pottery Square - where the wheel still spins the old way
Arrive in Nagarkot in time to watch the sunset melt over the mountains from your hotel.
