Effective date: October 7, 2026
Neo Puzzles: Neon Brain Games ("Neo Puzzles", "the app") is a collection of puzzle games. We built it to need as little data as possible.
There is no account, no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number in the app.
Your game progress is saved on your device.
To improve the games and fix bugs, the app sends usage events and crash reports to our analytics providers. This data is tied to a random identifier for your installation of the app, never to your name, email or Apple Account.
We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), do not show ads and do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We do not sell personal data.
The app is published by Alina Kazlova, Mikr. 19, 30/96, Zhlobin 247210, Belarus ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the processing described in this policy. Contact: support.neopuzzles@gmail.com.
To let you continue where you left off, the app saves your game progress on your device: the levels you have completed in each game and related game state, plus app settings (for example, whether you have seen the introduction).
This saved progress is stored only on your device. We cannot restore it or delete it remotely. If you delete the app, it is deleted and we cannot recover it. If you have device backups turned on, iOS may include it in your iCloud or computer backup, which Apple manages under your Apple Account.
The app uses the following service providers, which process data on our behalf:
Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc., USA) for product analytics.
Firebase (Google LLC, USA, and Google Ireland Limited): Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, and Firebase Remote Config to adjust app settings, such as game balance and which levels are free, without releasing an update.
Through them we receive:
Usage events: which game you open, levels started and completed, Daily Puzzle progress, onboarding steps, screens viewed, settings changed, and whether the subscription offer was shown.
Purchase events: that a subscription or free trial was started, renewed or cancelled, the plan, the result, the price and currency. We never receive your payment details or Apple Account information.
Crash and diagnostic data: crash logs, app version, device model, operating system version, language and the technical state of the app at the time of a crash.
Identifiers: a random identifier generated by Amplitude for your installation of the app, and a Firebase installation identifier. They are not the advertising identifier (IDFA), are not linked to your name, email or Apple Account, and change if you reinstall the app.
Our providers receive your IP address as part of any internet connection. We have configured our analytics not to record your location.
We use this data only to understand how the games are played, decide what to improve, measure whether the subscription offer works, configure the app remotely, and find and fix crashes. We do not use it for advertising or to build a profile about you.
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment, your billing details and your Apple Account, under its own privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. The app checks whether your subscription is active using Apple's StoreKit on your device. Apple also gives us aggregated sales reports that do not identify you.
If you choose "Share With App Developers" in your device settings, Apple may also share crash reports and usage statistics with us in a form that does not identify you. You can turn this off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you. We keep support correspondence for up to 12 months after the conversation ends and then delete it, unless we need it longer to deal with a legal claim. Our mailbox is provided by Google.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in keeping the app working, fixing bugs and improving the games, for the data described in sections 4 and 5, and in answering people who contact us, for section 6.
Usage and purchase events: up to 24 months, then deleted.
Crash reports: up to 90 days.
Support emails: see section 6.
Amplitude and Google process data in the United States and other countries. Where data from the EEA or UK is transferred to countries without an adequacy decision, the transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified) or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. In the EEA and UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, including objecting to analytics, email support.neopuzzles@gmail.com. Because the data we hold is not linked to your name or account, we may need you to help us find it, for example by telling us the approximate date and device you used. We reply within one month.
California residents. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not use sensitive personal information. You have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
The app is rated 4+ and is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of the App Store Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We keep the amount of data we hold as small as possible, use established providers to store it, and limit access to the people who need it to work on the app.
If the app starts processing data in a new way, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and change the effective date above. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it in the app first.
