Why we need it: To trigger edge lighting effects when you receive a notification from other apps.
How we use it: The App strictly monitors for the arrival of a notification to trigger the lighting effect.
Privacy Guarantee: We do not read, store, or transmit the content, sender, or any metadata of your notifications. The processing is entirely local and instantaneous.
Why we need it: To trigger specific edge lighting effects when your phone is ringing (an incoming call) or when a call ends.
How we use it: The App only checks the current state of the phone (e.g., ringing vs. idle) to know when to start or stop the animation.
Privacy Guarantee: We do not access, collect, store, or transmit your call logs, phone numbers, caller ID information, or any other phone data.
Why we need it: To draw the edge lighting animations on top of your screen and other apps.
Privacy Guarantee: This permission is strictly used for visual rendering. We do not use this permission to record your screen or monitor your interactions with other apps.
Any preferences or custom designs you create within the App (e.g., colors, animation speeds, border thicknesses) are saved locally on your device using standard Android storage mechanisms (like SharedPreferences). If you uninstall the App, this data is automatically deleted by the Android operating system. We do not back up or sync this data to any cloud service.
Neon operates entirely offline and does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
Because our App does not collect any personal information, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes to how we handle permissions or data, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, if required, prompt you within the App.
