NEMD2025 - Japan, Osaka (11-13 June, 2025)

NEMD Conference 11-13th June 2025

We are pleased to announce the next UK Fluid Network Special Interest Group on Non-Equilibrium Molecular Dynamics (NEMD) meeting will be held at Osaka University Nakanoshima Center on the 11th (Wed), 12th (Thu.) and 13th (Fri.) of June 2025. This meeting is part funded by the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science as a joint Japanese-UK, following the NEMD conference 2024 held in London.

Number of participants are limited, and oral presentations are selected based on the registration information.
We plan to ask the participants only the banquet fee (approx. 10,000 JPY, directly paid at banquet entry).

Keynote: 30 min. talk + 10 min. discussion. Contributed: 23 min. talk + 7 min discussion.
For poster presentations, A0 (W x H = 841mm x 1189mm) for poster + extra space for discussion with laptop is available for each.

Venue

Osaka University, Nakanoshima Center (<-link to google maps), Halls 1 - 4 (10F)

10 min. walk from JR Fukushima station (one stop from Osaka station), or 20 min. walk from JR Osaka station.

Access from Osaka Kansai (KIX) and Osaka Itami (ITM) airports

Many airlines have direct flight to Osaka (KIX) and Tokyo (HND or NRT). For the domestic transit from Tokyo to Osaka, Osaka Itami airport (ITM) is often used.

From Osaka Kansai International Airport (KIX):

Direct train to Fukushima st. (approx. 70 min, depart. every 15 min.).
Express train (JR approx. 50 min., depart. every 30 min.) or Airport Limousine Shuttle bus (approx. 70 min.) to Osaka Station.

From Osaka Itami Airport (ITM):

Train to Osaka Station (need 1 change, approx. 30 min.) or direct bus to Osaka Station (approx. 45 min.).
