North-East Meet of Astronomers (NEMA) is first initiated by the Department of Physics, Tezpur University in association with Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune with an aim to bring young and highly motivated students, researchers, College and University teachers of the North-East region working or intending to take up research in the field of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Astroparticle physics and related topics on a single platform to stimulate discussions and collaborations.

NEMA-IX will be organised by the Department of Physics, Mizoram University during 20th-22nd Nov, 2023. During the meet, experts from various fields will give plenary talks, young students and faculty members from colleges and universities followed by extensive discussions
