Welcome to the annual May series of children's cross country races. This is a schools league but open to all children. You do not need to be affiliated to a school (or pre-school) to run. There are 4 races - you can choose to enter all or just one. You can try and be competitive and win points for your school, or just run for fun.

Race Grades:

Primary Years 1-3 (+ pre-schoolers): Boys race and girls race - 1 km

Primary Years 4-6: Boys race and girls race - 2 km

Intermediate: Boys race and girls race - 2.5 km

College: Boys race and girls race - 3 km

Years 4-6 can enter the shorter distance but results won't count for schools competition. We suggest a lower age limit of 4. We want to include all children - please ask if there is something we can do to make this possible.

Registration:

Pre-registration is required and there will be no registrations on the day at the last race. You child can still run, but there name will not be recorded for results.

Details needed are: name; school (or home schooled); school year (NOT age).

A race number will be sent by return email. The number must be written on the back of the left hand with marker pen so it is visible to recorders at the end of the race. Registration only needs to occur once as each runner uses their unique number for the whole series. Pre-registered runners do not need to sign in on the day.

Runners participate at their own risk. We run rain or shine (unless conditions are dangerous).

Voluntary gold coin donation per family per race would be much appreciated (to assist with race expenses; any left over to go towards the inter-regional cross country team). To be paid on the day.
