Nel Larowehn
Born November 6, 1969 in Northern Utah / Education and Experience: 1994: Attended the International Hoge School vor de Kunsten (School of the Arts) in Utrecht, Netherlands) / 1995: Graduated from Utah State University with BA in Liberal Arts / 2005-present: Epoch Arts Studio; mixed media artist utilizing pencil, textile, oil, acrylic, charcoal, and watercolor /2008-present: private violin and piano teacher / 1987-present: violinist in varied chamber and symphonic orchestras / 2017-present: band member of the Celtic-World-Folk music touring group WildWing! / 2015: Co-founder of Castle Valley Youth Orchestra / Mother of four / Has completed manuscripts of three novels and seven novellas / Illustrations in charcoal and water color included in Larowehn’s manuscripts.
Larowehn’s honed observation skills infuse her writing with insight and fresh solutions to universal challenges as her writing style captures the ebb and flow of relationships and the inner landscape of individuality. Larowehn resides with her family in Cache Valley, Utah; grateful for the clear-eyed awareness that rugged mountain walks, disabled children, and committed family life provide.
