Nele Charlotte A. Warrinnier

Welcome to my homepage. I am currently working as an Economist for the World Bank's Poverty and Equity Global Practice.  I am also a senior research fellow at the LICOS Centre for Institutions and Economic Performance at KU Leuven. 

As an applied micro economist, I work on topics in Labor Economics, Development Economics and Political Economy. My research interest are diverse and include impact evaluation, human capital and labor market policies in low and middle-income countries and international sanction policy. Before joining the World Bank in 2022 I was awarded a Marie-Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship (grant agreement no 846621) as post-doctoral fellow at the University of Economics and Finance in Queen Mary University of London.
