At the entrance to Chennault Park in Monroe. Shares the life, contribution, and culture of African Americans in Northeast Louisiana. Features visual art, historical documents & artifacts, a museum store, and more. $
In Monroe. For children of all ages, but primarily elementary age and under. Hands-on exhibits. $
Located within the university in Monroe. Showcases collections from the natural history of the region as well as interactive exhibits in their new STEAM area.
Near the Monroe airport. Honors veterans and soldiers from WWI through Iraq Freedom. Special exhibits for Gen. Chennault & the Flying Tigers and Delta Airlines. Has an aircraft restoration park outside and a museum store. FREE.
Located in Monroe near the Ouachita River. The largest collecting & exhibiting visual arts museum in Northeast Louisiana. Exhibits change regularly. FREE.
In Lake Providence. Showcases major LA Delta crop in a replica gin house. Variety of exhibits that include dioramas, farm equipment and more. Temporarily Closed as of 11/9/2023. Check site for updates.
In Shreveport. Includes murals, rotating art exhibits, Native American artifacts, dioramas, and artifacts about the history and culture of Louisiana and much more. Unique architecture. FREE.
In Ferriday. Showcases 29 artists from the musical genres of blues, gospel and country, which later created Rock & Roll and Rockabilly. Part of the Mississippi Blues Trail. FREE.
In Shreveport. Diverse collection from antiquities to contemporary art in permanent and scheduled exhibitions. 40 acres of botanical gardens. FREE.
In Ruston. Showcases a wide range of historic US military uniforms, weapons, vehicles & more on two floors and outdoors. FREE.
