NEIUPI (The Northeastern Illinois University Chapter of University Professionals of Illinois Local 4100) represents faculty and professional staff at Northeastern Illinois University. It is part of the University Professionals of Illinois (UPI), which is a labor union advocating for fair labor conditions, academic freedom, and professional rights for educators and staff.

The Contract (CBA)
The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), often referred to as “the Contract,” is the legally-binding agreement between the university and our union. The CBA is renegotiated periodically, usually about every 3 – 4 years. The Contract addresses everything from salary to workload, evaluation procedures to grievances.
All members are encouraged to get familiar with the Contract!
