Top 4 His 1st Regional.

"A year ago, I decided to start my adventure in competitive Pokémon. As it's a very complex field, I began by watching videos online, and that's where I found Neil. His friendly attitude in his videos is what made me decide to do coaching with him with the goal of preparing for my first in-person tournament, the Bochum regional. During those classes, we built an anti-meta team with which I achieved a top 4 finish in my first tournament. This was not only an incredible personal experience but also allowed me to immerse myself in the community, be recruited by a squad, and meet a bunch of people to continue practicing and growing with. Honestly, I would recommend the experience 100% and I look forward to working with him again in the future."

Day 2   Regional

"It is never easy shaking off significant rust when returning to any type of competitive endeavor for the first time in years. Between my deep competitive background in matters such as traditional sports and the unprecedented rise in attendance Play! Pokemon events have seen over the last two years, I know just how vital getting back into shape is if one is to obtain a desirable result in high-level competition. Combine that with the fact that I chose the 2023 Hartford Regional (which was filled with a myriad of Pokemon's household names) as the first event that would mark my return to playing VGC, I knew I would need help from the best to put in a good showing. With all this being stated, I knew Neil was the perfect fit for the job. For one, the daily content he makes to keep the community up to speed with the latest developments in the meta and scene as a whole is second to none. Once I got into a call with him to prepare for Hartford, it was poetry in motion. From refining the EV spreads in the teambuilding phase, to preparing lines into Regulation C's strongest archetypes and helping me hone in on some of my unique key strengths as a player, Neil helped me in ways beyond comprehension. With the knowledge he shared with me at my disposal, I was able to achieve a Top 32 finish at Hartford; an event that would go down as one the most stacked regionals in the game's history. Fast forward to the present day, and I have been able to pile on several more top cut and Day 2 finishes since then; always carrying with me what I learned from him in the process. Thank you Neil for both what you have done for me and the VGC community. In case I have not stated it already, Neil's deserves nothing but a 10/10, 5-star rating minimum."
