My teaching journey is not just a career—it's a calling nurtured over years of immersive learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience. It began in the heart of Bhopal, at a place that became my second home: the Demonstration Multipurpose School (DMS), RIE NCERT Bhopal.
DMS Bhopal is more than an institution to me—it’s where my roots in education were planted and nurtured. I spent 17 transformative years on this campus, evolving from a curious student to a reflective teacher and leader. I completed my schooling (SSC) here, pursued my B.Ed. and M.Ed. at the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), NCERT, and returned to DMS as a student-teacher intern and later as a pre-primary educator. This rare continuity gave me a profound understanding of the learner’s journey and the educator’s responsibility to shape it with care, creativity, and conviction.
Science Teacher (Grades 4–6)
At Campion, I taught science and integrated subjects using hands-on experiments, digital tools, and inquiry-based strategies. I focused on nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. My classroom was a space where students explored, questioned, and connected science to real life.
Pre-Primary Teacher
Returning to DMS as a teacher was a full-circle moment. I taught foundational literacy, numeracy, and creative expression to early learners, using play-based and multimedia approaches. I maintained strong parent partnerships and prioritized holistic development through joyful, inclusive learning.
Internship & Teaching Practice
During my B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs, I underwent rigorous teaching internships at DMS under the mentorship of master educators like Dr Hrusikesh Sanapati Sir Ex-Professor of Regional Institute of education and Ex-NCERT Chief Professor . These experiences sharpened my lesson planning, classroom management, and reflective teaching practices. I also contributed to curriculum development and participated in model teaching demonstrations.
