ABOUT ME

I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar under the supervision of Prof. Prabal Banerjee. Prior to this, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Allahabad. During my Ph.D., I developed organocatalytic and Lewis acid-catalyzed strategies for annulation and selective ring-opening reactions to synthesize diverse heterocycles and fluorinated scaffolds. This work strengthened my expertise in asymmetric synthesis, reaction design, catalyst screening, and mechanistic studies. I am motivated to further expand my research toward developing catalytic methods useful for medicinal and materials chemistry.
