In April of 1775, Paul Revere engaged in his historic midnight ride to alert the early colonists of attack by British soldiers. The colonists were united and coordinated in their efforts to advance their way of life. Through an extraordinary amount of hard work and sacrifice, they persevered and emerged victorious.

More than 200 years later, NEEPS stands as a coordinated global effort among scholars and students in the evolutionary behavioral sciences. Since 2007, members of NEEPS have taken steps to advance our understanding of the interface between evolution and human behavior - in spite of all kinds of intellectual attacks and hurdles.

NEEPS XIII will be a celebration of the advances made by the little evolutionary psychology society that could. Here is to "lucky" 13. Here is to the revolution.
