AIRPORTS:
Three general options exist to get to New Paltz by air.
A. The three New York City airports (Newark, John F. Kennedy, and LaGuardia) are all within a two-hour drive. See: http://www.ny.com/transportation/airports/ for information on each airport (including information on ground transportation to travel upstate).
B. The Albany airport is about 70 miles from New Paltz (see: http://www.albanyairport.com/). They also have ground transportation options listed on their website.
C. Stewart International Airport in Newburgh is about a half hour from New Paltz. See: http://www.swfny.com/. They too list ground transportation options on their site. TRY FOR STEWART IF YOU CAN – it is CONVENIENT!
