About me

Hi! I am Neel, a fifth year grad student at Penn State. I am interested in algebraic geometry and commutative algebra, and my advisor is Prof. Jack Huizenga.

I hail from West Bengal, India. I completed my undergrad and Master's degrees from Chennai Mathematical Institute. After that I moved to the US to pursue my PhD at Penn State.

Aside from math, I am an avid swimmer, and enjoy playing badminton and table tennis. I also like to (try to) learn new languages.
