Neeharika Kakunuri
Hello, welcome to my website!
I am a Ph.D. student in economics at the University College Dublin supervised by Dr. Frank Walsh.
I'm an aspiring development economist with a strong focus on family and gender-related issues such as gender-based violence, fertility preferences, and gender norms. I examine how various reforms, economic and political shocks affect the outcomes of women in developing countries. My research employs both empirical and theoretical methods in development economics. The countries I am most interested in are India, Latin America, and Africa.
