Black Betty, Riders on the Storm, Helmet- Crashing Foreign Cars, it had slow rap aka the good rap featuring snoop-dog mostly even exhibit all the way to hardcore metal, wish I could of appreciated these songs more as a little kid on my ps2 during Christmas. Man why did nfs heat soundtrack suck so badly? Not one snoop dog or metal song in the entire game. Poor kids

I haven't been able to get this to work. I'm on a ps4, it won't recognize my ipod, or even a cd, I tried downloading spotify but can't find how to use it in game. The soundtrack on this game blows! I've been turning the music off and playing my ipod through some speakers behind me with the game sounds playing through my surround sound. But it would be better if I could use my playlists in game.

Like previous games in the series, Need for Speed Unbound will feature an official soundtrack of licensed tracks for when you get tired of hearing your wheels perform a burning rubber concerto. There'll be more than 70 tracks in Need for Speed Unbound, with the playlist including A$AP Rocky, Kelvin Krash, Slowthai, Smooky MarGielaa, Thoto, and more in a collection inspired by global hip-hop artists.

"The most immediate thing that players will notice is the emphasis on global expressions of hip-hop," senior brand manager Chase Straight explained in a Need for Speed blog post. "Nearly half of our soundtrack is non-English, putting a spotlight on art and artists that are making waves in their region of the world that we hope to give a global platform to."

Even though a fair few of you already have your hands on it, the full release of Need For Speed Unbound is only hours away. It won't be long before you can pick your favorite car and zip around the streets of Lakeshore City, listening to some great tunes whilst doing so. There's going to be some great tracks to jam along to, as TheGamer can exclusively reveal that French composer, producer and DJ Brodinski created the soundtrack for the title.

With this news, Need for Speed Unbound's soundtrack is promising to be a pretty great one at that. Not only do we now have an entire soundtrack from Brodinski, we also have a number of tracks from famous rapper A$AP Rocky, who has been heavily involved with the game's marketing over the past couple of months. He even lent his voice to one of the game's car horns, although you'd probably want to hear his voice coming out of your stereo rather than anywhere else.
