Matt assumed the role of director in May of 2024. He is the Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Vermont and is directly responsible for the care and wellbeing of the men's ice hockey program. Matt grew up playing Tier II hockey in Colorado. He has served as an athletic trainer for hockey teams in college, major junior, the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League.
In his role as player safety coordinator, Matt serves as a liaison for our district with the USA Hockey national office regarding player safety. His role is to promote the player safety initiatives set forth by USA Hockey and assist the affiliates with the implementation of these initiatives.
