WHAT IS NEDDs?

The Network of Extended Day Directors (NEDDs) was formed in 1990 by and for the directors of Extended Day Programs operated by public school systems. Our goal is to provide resources, such as staff training, idea sharing, and networking to programs throughout Massachusetts. A resource library is available at the Wayland Town Building, where the bi-monthly meetings are held. NEDDs business meetings are held on the third Friday of the month during the academic year. Agendas for the meetings are distributed to members in advance. Guest speakers are featured periodically throughout the year. Members of the group are available to consult with school systems that are contemplating starting or expanding programs. Membership is open to directors of school operated programs. New members are welcome to attend meetings at any time.
