Zeina Misk is an MA holder in Sociology and Anthropology from the American University of Beirut. She is also a certified Professional Mediator since October 2018 from the Saint Joseph University. She headed the Social Sciences Department at Brummana High School for 9 years and is currently teaching Sociology, Theory of Knowledge and Philosophy. She has been an instructor at LAU since 2015 and has been teaching in addition to her introductory sociology courses, a score of other courses such as “Women in the Arab World”, “Fundamentals of Gender Discrimination” and “Cross-Cultural Communication and Conflict”. She has been teaching a methodology course at the AUB Education Department on “Teaching Social Studies in the Elementary School” since 2022. Gender Activism, Peace and Mediation, Heritage Conservation and Environmental Preservation have always been a driving anchor behind her lifestyle.
