Rola Katerji is specialized in educational management and leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, a Diploma in Secondary Science Teaching, a Diploma in Educational management and Leadership, and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from the American University of Beirut.
Her master’s thesis, titled “Inter-School Collaboration in the Arab World: The Case of TAMAM Project,” explored school-based improvement through collaboration among five schools in the TAMAM Jordan Hub. In 2024, it was awarded the prestigious Dr. Faoud Haddad Best Thesis Award in Education.
Rola has played a role in designing many TAMAM’s programs, authoring technical reports, and organizing training workshops, public forums across Arab countries, and international conferences. Since 2019, she has coordinated TAMAM’s pioneering interschool collaboration initiative to improve Arabic language teaching among schools in the Jordan Hub, an effort recognized as a leading model in the Arab region. Currently, she serves as a senior coach, supporting two coaches from Saudi Arabia in leading school improvement efforts, and two coaches from Kuwait in developing a project focused on enhancing Arabic language learning.
Drawing on her experience as a former teacher and as Head of the Education Department at a private school in Lebanon, Rola brings insight into school dynamics and instructional leadership. She is also committed to volunteer work, with several years of engagement with youth and adolescents through local NGOs.
She has been an integral member of the TAMAM Steering team since 2010.
