Rana Sawaya is the Program Supervisor, Principal, and Co-Founder of CARE. She completed her schooling at Brumana High School, holds a B.A. in Communication Arts from Notre Dame University (NDU), and a Master’s in Educational Studies with a focus on Special Needs from Sheffield University.
With over 30 years of experience in education, she began as a general teacher before specializing in supporting students with learning challenges. Later on, she developed and restructured vocational programs in collaboration with psychologists and special educators, integrating international curricula with local culture. In 2010, she co-founded CARE, an initiative dedicated to bridging educational gaps and preparing students with functional and vocational skills for lifelong success
