Dr. Wafa Abi Kheir Skaff has over 18 years of experience in higher education, teaching Strategic Management, Human Resources, and Leadership at several Lebanese universities, including the Lebanese American University (LAU). She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration in Management from Northcentral University (USA) and an MBA in International Management from Columbia Southern University (USA). Her research explores the relationship between leadership, employee mental health, and organizational performance, with publications in international outlets, alongside continued contributions through graduate supervision and peer-reviewed work. Before her academic career, she
worked in the banking sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, holding regional responsibilities in wealth management and client engagement with Merrill Lynch
International Bank and UBS. This combination of corporate and academic experience allows her to bridge theory with practice and bring real-world insight into the classroom, fostering student growth, ethical reasoning, and the development of core managerial competencies. She remains committed to advancing research in management and leadership while preparing the next generation of professionals to navigate complex organizational challenges with integrity, confidence, and purpose.
