Dr. Maria Bou Zeid

Dr. Bou Zeid holds a PhD degree in Media Studies from Université Paris II, Assas, Paris, France and a master’s degree in Journalism from the Lebanese University in collaboration with the French Press Institute-IFP and the Center for the Formation and Perfecting of Journalists CFPJ, Paris, France. Dr. Bou Zeid’s research interests center mainly around media education and literacy, higher education in the Arab world, internationalization in higher education in the MENA region along with the challenges and opportunities within the Lebanese and the regional educational sectors.

Bou Zeid has extensive professional experience in the fields of media training, media education, television production and broadcast journalism.
