Dr. Ghina AlBadawi Hafez is the Director General of the Educational Affairs at Al Makassed Islamic Philanthropic Association in Beirut. She supervises the work of 16 Makassed schools in Beirut, the Bekaa, and the North. She is also an assistant professor at Saint Joseph University and a member of the Higher Committee for Educational Curricula in Lebanon.
Dr. Al-Badawi contributes to programs supporting educational quality assurance and sustainable development, with a focus on literature, the environment, early childhood development, and a strong belief in inclusive education as a strategy for effective learning. Additionally, she is a consultant and a quality assurance official with Cognia.
She has authored several educational publications, and her latest book on educational technology was among the bestsellers at the Beirut Arab International Book Fair. She was also invited by the Harvard Graduate School of Education to speak at its annual conference for school heads and has received honors from the British Council, the Ministry of Education in Ajman, and the World Forum Foundation in the United States, among others.
She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from Saint Joseph University (USJ) and a Master’s degree in Education from the American University of Beirut (AUB).
