Dr. Bassem Kandil

Dr. Bassem Kandil is the Head of Education Department in the Faculty of Education at Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ). As an Associate Professor of Education, Dr. Kandil teaches a variety of courses covering Data-driven Decision-making, STEAM Education, Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methodologies, and AI in education. His role as the head of the department also entails that he does regular evaluations of the various courses offered, as well as the relevant programs. Dr. Kandil has also provided various consultancy services that contributed to numerous education projects at the national and international levels. Passionate about meaningful learning and critical thinking, Dr. Kandil is dedicated to promoting a culture of continuous improvement by integrating research findings, identifying best instructional practices, and utilizing AI.
