Graduated with a BA and TD from Haigazian University in 2005 in Early Childhood Education. After working for a few years as a Kindergarten teacher in schools in Lebanon, she traveled to the USA to continue her education. Completed her MA degree in Mental Health Counseling with Addiction specialization from University of Cincinnati working with dual diagnosed patients (mental health and addiction). Continued her studies in the Special Education program of University of Cincinnati where she worked with children with Autism. After receiving her MEd degree in Summer of 2013, she returned to Lebanon. She has been working within Karagheusian Association as a Special Educator and Mental Health Counselor providing one to one services working with children with Autism and Learning difficulties, conducting psychoeducational assessments for the governmental exams presented to the Ministry of Education, and providing workshops and guidance to teachers on working with students with special needs and behavioral issues. During the academic year 2018-19, she worked as an academic coordinator and curriculum developer for AUB’s Next Step program. Currently, in addition to working at the Karagheusian Association, she also has her own private practice located in Jdeideh where she provides her services. This year, she became an Instructor at the Lebanese American University’s (LAU) Department of Education.
