This session explores the complex nature of trauma and provides participants with practical strategies for effective support and healing. It begins by defining trauma, identifying the different kinds of trauma highlighting how each affects individuals uniquely, and learning about the Stages of Trauma. Participants will then examine How to Manage Trauma and the “What Can I do” question?
The session outlines the stages of trauma recovery, emphasizing that healing is a gradual and individualized process. Through discussion, reflection, and applied practice, attendees will learn techniques and tips for managing trauma, fostering emotional resilience, and supporting themselves and others in their journey toward recovery.
