Managing “big behaviors” in young learners is one of the greatest challenges teachers can face. This training is designed to equip preschool and elementary educators with evidence-based strategies for addressing significant behavioral challenges in the classroom. Moving beyond surface-level discipline, we explore the why behind these behaviors and how to respond effectively.
The session willl begin with a brief overview of factors underlying disruptive behaviors. Building on this foundation, participants will learn psychologically grounded principles and strategies to create structured classroom and foster healthy student-teacher relationships, both to prevent “big behaviors” and respond effectivey when they occur.
By integrating theory with practice, teachers will gain a deeper understanding of their students’ behavior, and leave with practical, concrete tools and strategies to address challening behaviors.
