Nebula String Quartet

The Nebula String Quartet is affiliated with Greenbelt Community Orchestra, based in Greenbelt, Maryland. The quartet formed with the purpose of playing newly-composed music.  Quartet members are Susan Stewart (1st violin), Anne Gardner (2nd violin), Rachel Alexander (viola) and Lauren Starosta (cello).

They will be performing a free concert on October 24, 2026, at 3pm at the Old Parish House, 4711 Knox Rd, College Park.  This is part of the Global Composer Project 3 "Cafe Gherkinforke". 16 composers from around the world have each composed a 3-minute piece for quartet, and these pieces will be performed as a suite in each of the represented countries, including Australia, Finland, the UK, Estonia, Kosovo, Norway, Germany, Argentina and the US.
