Jessica L.V. Piskorski

Jessica L.V. Piskorski graduated from the University Of Nebraska College Of Law in 2009, with a concentration in Litigation Skills. During law school, Ms. Piskorski took part in the College of Law Civil Clinic, was a College of Law Student Ambassador, and was a student member of the Robert Van Pelt American Inn of Court.

Ms. Piskorski served for seven years as in-house counsel for a collection agency in Grand Island, where she handled matters regarding federal collection law, state law and civil procedure, and acted as a corporate departmental supervisor. Ms. Piskorski joined Stowell & Geweke, P.C., L.L.O. in 2016 and currently handles legal matters in estate planning, estate administration, entity formation, and transactional legal work. Ms. Piskorski is a member of both the Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Section of the NSBA and the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy class of 2017-2018. She lives in Ord, Nebraska with her husband, Dan, and their three young children.

Kara Ronnau

Kara J. Ronnau serves as Executive General Counsel for Aurora Cooperative Elevator Company, a Nebraska cooperative. Kara grew up on a farm north of Hampton, NE where her family has farmed for six generations. Kara’s responsibilities for the Aurora Cooperative include overseeing the work of outside legal counsel, corporate governance, and providing advice and support to senior management. Prior to her role at Aurora Cooperative, Kara was in private practice at Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, LLP for five years and focused on estate planning, real estate, and business organizations.
