The Nebraska Junior Academy State Science and Agriculture Research Competition (NJAS) will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the University of Nebraska East Student Union in Lincoln, NE. 

This science/agricultural research competition brings brilliant young minds together with 6-12th grade students within the State of Nebraska. The NJAS mission is to introduce, encourage, and accelerate students into the professional world of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and agriculture. The students will compete for and win various awards and scholarships.  They will establish a new collaboration for future research and make a host of new friends.
