Effective Date: July 21, 2026
NearMe ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") values your trust and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes the types of data we gather, how we utilize and safeguard that data, and the choices available to you regarding your information.
By installing, accessing, or continuing to use NearMe, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Policy and consent to the practices described herein. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
We collect only the information that is reasonably necessary to deliver, maintain, and improve the App. The categories of information we collect are as follows:
When you register an account, contact our support team, or interact with in-app features, you may provide us with:
Contact details such as your email address and display name;
Messages, attachments, and other content submitted through support channels or feedback forms;
Profile preferences and settings you configure within the App.
As you navigate and interact with the App, certain technical and behavioral data is gathered automatically through standard logging mechanisms and analytics tools:
Device and system data: IP address, device manufacturer and model, operating system version, screen resolution, and App version;
Advertising and attribution identifiers: Device-level advertising IDs used for campaign measurement and analytics;
Usage patterns: Feature engagement metrics, session duration, navigation paths, and crash or error reports.
We may receive limited information from trusted partners and service providers, such as analytics platforms or advertising networks. The collection and handling of such data by these third parties are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
NearMe does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data categories, including financial account numbers, government-issued identification numbers, health or medical records, or biometric identifiers.
NearMe relies on specific device capabilities to deliver its core functionality. The permissions we request and their purposes are detailed below:
Location data is integral to the App's primary features. Depending on your settings, we may access:
Precise location (GPS and network-based): Used to determine your real-time position and enable location-sharing features with contacts you authorize;
Background location: Enables continuous position updates when the App is not in the foreground. Background tracking is activated only when you explicitly enable a live-sharing or active-tracking mode;
Geofencing: Generates arrival and departure notifications for user-defined geographic zones, shared solely with the contacts you designate within your trusted circle.
You retain full control over location permissions and may disable or modify them at any time through the App's settings menu or your device's system-level permission controls. Restricting location access may limit certain features.
Camera: Optional — used exclusively for QR code scanning and in-app photo capture initiated by you;
Notifications: Delivers location-triggered alerts, safety notifications, and account-related messages;
Network / Wi-Fi: Supports internet connectivity and optimizes data transmission;
Foreground service and wake lock: Maintains reliable location sharing during active sessions;
Haptic feedback: Provides tactile response for critical in-app alerts;
Boot receiver: Allows the App to resume background services following a device restart, provided a live-sharing session was previously active;
App inventory: Accessed solely for security validation and device compatibility checks;
Install referrer: Identifies the source of installation for analytics and marketing attribution purposes.
The information we collect serves the following operational and business purposes:
Core service delivery: Powering real-time location sharing, geofence alerts, and safety notifications;
Experience personalization: Tailoring the interface and feature recommendations to your preferences and usage habits;
Product improvement: Analyzing aggregated usage data to diagnose issues, refine existing features, and develop new capabilities;
Customer support: Responding to inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and resolving disputes;
Security and integrity: Detecting and preventing fraudulent activity, abuse, or unauthorized access;
Legal compliance: Fulfilling our obligations under applicable laws, regulations, and lawful government requests, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
NearMe does not sell your personal information to third parties.
We disclose information only in the limited circumstances described below:
We engage carefully vetted third-party vendors to perform functions on our behalf, such as:
Analytics and attribution services (e.g., Adjust, Google Firebase, Google Analytics, Snowball);
Cloud infrastructure, hosting, and data storage providers;
Customer support and communication platforms.
These providers are contractually restricted from using your personal data for any purpose other than performing the specific services they have been engaged to provide, and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Key third-party privacy policies for your reference:
We may disclose information when required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or when we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of NearMe, our users, or the public.
We may share aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Such data may be used for research, analytics, benchmarking, or business intelligence purposes.
We implement a multi-layered security program designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Our measures include:
Encrypted data transmission using industry-standard protocols (TLS/SSL);
Access controls and authentication requirements for systems that store personal data;
Internal access restrictions limiting data visibility to personnel with a legitimate business need;
Regular security assessments and monitoring for vulnerabilities or suspicious activity.
Despite our efforts, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We retain your personal information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at help@miracleanapp.com. Upon verifying your identity, we will delete or irreversibly anonymize your data within thirty (30) days, unless we are legally required to retain it for a longer period.

NearMe is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal data from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our records. NearMe operates on a global basis. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. Where such transfers occur, we take appropriate measures — such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions — to ensure that your data receives a level of protection consistent with applicable privacy laws.
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service offerings. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and, where appropriate, by posting a notice within the App or sending a communication to the email address associated with your account.
Your continued use of NearMe after the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly.
