1. Acceptance of Terms By creating an account, accessing, or using the "Near Singles" mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility (Strictly 18+) You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Near Singles and use the Service. By creating an account and using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years old.
You are legally permitted to use the App by the laws of your home country.
You have never been convicted of a felony or a sex crime, or required to register as a sex offender.
3. User Content and Conduct (UGC Policy) As a social platform, Near Singles allows users to post photos, messages, and profile details ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for the content you post.
We have a Zero Tolerance Policy for objectionable content. You agree NOT to post or transmit content that:
Contains nudity, sexual content, or pornography.
Is abusive, insulting, threatening, discriminatory, or promotes hatred against individuals or groups.
Constitutes harassment, bullying, or defamation.
Promotes illegal acts or violence.
Contains spam, solicitations, or commercial advertising without our consent.
4. Content Monitoring and Enforcement We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor User Content.
Removal: We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
Blocking/Reporting: We provide tools for users to report inappropriate content or block other users. We will review reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action.
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, particularly regarding our user safety and content guidelines.
5. VIP Subscriptions and Paid Services
Subscription Plans "Near Singles" offers optional subscription plans ("VIP Membership") that grant access to premium features, such as unlimited swipes, seeing who liked you, and advanced location matching. The pricing and duration of these subscriptions are displayed prominently within the App.
Payment and Billing Payment will be charged to your Google Play Account at confirmation of purchase. All prices are subject to change without notice, but price changes will not apply to current billing periods.
Automatic Renewal To ensure uninterrupted service, your VIP subscription automatically renews for the same duration and at the current price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
If you purchase a subscription during a free trial period (if offered), any unused portion of the free trial will be forfeited.
Cancellation Policy (How to Unsubscribe) Deleting the App or your "Near Singles" account DOES NOT cancel your subscription. You must cancel your subscription through Google Play Settings.
To Cancel: Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone -> Tap your profile icon -> Tap "Payments & subscriptions" -> Tap "Subscriptions" -> Select "Near Singles" -> Tap "Cancel subscription."
Once canceled, you will retain access to VIP features until the end of the current billing cycle.
Refunds All purchases are final and generally non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods. Refunds are handled exclusively by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact Google Play Support directly.
6. Safety and Interactions with Others You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
No Background Checks: We do not conduct criminal background checks on our users.
Risk Assumption: You understand that we cannot guarantee the identity of users. You agree to use caution in all interactions, especially if you decide to communicate off the Service or meet in person.
7. Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
8. Rights You Grant Us By creating an account, you grant us a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free license to host, store, use, display, reproduce, and modify your User Content for the purpose of operating, developing, and providing the Service.
9. Disclaimers The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, nor do we guarantee any specific results (such as finding a match) from using the Service.
10. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Near Singles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your access to or use of the Service or any content or interactions with other users.
11. Changes to Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the amended terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
