Workshop on
Non-equilibrium Phenomena
in Physics and Biology

Dec. 5th - 9th 2022
Lahan Select Gyeongju, Gyeongju, South Korea
(also over zoom)

About the workshop

In this workshop, we gather researchers working on non-equilibrium phenomena from mathematical/physical/biological aspects so that we can share the ideas and methods, for the purpose of reaching a better understanding of complex phenomena in physics and biology. The topics to be discussed include (but not limited to):

  • Systems Biology

  • Chemical reaction networks

    • Stochastic/deterministic

  • Non-equilibrium physics

    • Quantum/classical speed limit

    • Thermodynamic uncertainty

    • Information thermodynamics & its role in biological systems
