MERGED WITH AN ONLINE WORKSHOP DUE TO COVID-19 :
On March 28 2020, the New England IBL in Mathematics Community (NE-IBLM) (web site at https://www.ne-iblm.org/) will meet for an
NE-IBLM workshop **ONLINE** using a **video collaboration platform** !
Special thanks to the colleagues at Worcester State for planning on hosting NE-IBLM!!
Two important goals of the consortium are broadening the use of IBL in the New England area and creating a regional community of IBL practitioners. We will focus on these two goals in particular at this event.
We welcome participants of any background using IBLM as a pedagogical approach. We will continue our discussion about the role of IBL in inclusive learning, an important connection that is ripe for further exploration and research.
The workshop will take place at Worcester State University, on March 28th from 9 AM - 4 PM. We put together a program to actively involve and engage all participants.

Morning Live Classrooms: Liberal Arts Mathematics Classroom and Calculus Classroom
Lunch & Community Building. Round Tables: Table discussions, discussion topics including IBL for Statistics, IBL in large classes; participants will be invited to generate other topics of their interest.
Afternoon Session: Assessment: Power, Learning and Equity
Registration: $25 to cover continental breakfast, coffee, lunch, and afternoon snacks including vegetarian and vegan options
Please email Marie Velez at mvelez@worcester.edu to inform her you will be coming. In mid-March and email with directions and a payment of the fee using a credit card will be sent. The payment will be made to the food service on campus and must be by credit card.

Parking. It is a weekend so you can park anywhere you find a legal space. We are meeting in Sheehan Hall Multi-Purpose Room right next to the dining hall.
