NE-COMMIT 's annual conference will be on Saturday, October 24. 2026. This year's theme is:
Supporting Math Students in Today’s World
Two important goals of the NE-COMMIT are broadening the use of inquiry in mathematics in the New England area and creating a regional community of practitioners. We will focus on these two goals in particular at this event.
We welcome participants of any background using inquiry-based mathematics education as a pedagogical approach. We will continue our discussion about the role of inquiry in inclusive learning, an important connection that is ripe for further exploration and research.
The conference will take place at Smith College in Northampton, MA on October 24. We are putting together a program to actively involve and engage all participants.
