Reminder!
If you find yourself on a  Waitlist  or being Deferred to another application pool- NOW is the time to focus on your Mid Year Exams and finish up strong mid year grades this week.  All colleges will see your mid year grades. 

Be sure also to be in communication with those colleges. Email the College Admission Representative, call the admissions office. Let them know you are still interested. 

Important Deadlines: 

• Please remember January 15th is the deadline Uconn Storrs Campus 

• February 15th is the deadline for the state funding from CT through the FAFSA Application.

• Record your application results in Naviance

  1. College Applying To-> Edit-> Results 

• Update and Thank Your Teachers and School Counselors who wrote for you 

• Make an appointment to review any outstanding parts of applications and/or review application results: Mrs. Hanson Calendar (College and Career Advisement)

Online Webinar to Help with FAFSA Completion

The FAFSA Walkthrough walks students and families through the entire FAFSA by section, outlining what information is necessary, detailing common points, and discussing how to answer questions. This presentation also gives a bit of insight into what comes after the FAFSA by discussing the financial aid timeline, plus briefly introducing the FAFSA Submission Summary (formerly called SAR) and verification. We also provide opportunities for Q&A and follow-up support. Who should attend: In this virtual event, uAspire will walk students and families through the entire FAFSA from start to finish, including each contributor section, what you will need to complete the FAFSA, and some additional information about the financial aid process.
