The North Dakota Chapter is part of the Northern Great Plains (NGP) Section operating within the framework of the Society for Range Management (SRM). The Society for Range Management is an international professional and scientific organization dedicated to the sustainable management and stewardship of rangelands. Their mission is to provide leadership for the stewardship of rangelands based on sound ecological principles. Their vision is to support a well-trained and highly motivated group of professionals and rangeland users working with productive, sustainable rangeland ecosystems.
Annual Symposium - October 7-9, 2026

Registration includes:
Total access to the trade show and all vendor booths, all scheduled presentations and discussion panels, student poster competition, and a guided field tour.
Three catered meals and refreshments during breaks.
Wednesday night social and Thursday evening awards presentation.
Student registration includes all of the above plus optional entrance in a plant identification contest and range management exam.

We invite students, researchers, professionals, and land stewards to share their work at the 2026 Annual Symposium.
We welcome poster submissions on all topics related to rangeland ecology, management, conservation, and use.
Posters will be displayed the evening of Wednesday, October 7th.
Submit your poster abstract for consideration using the link below. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, September 4th.
