It was 8th of April, 1984 , a seven months old, pre-mature baby was born. She was tiny than a one liter bottle of coke as described, so helpless, weak, and wrapped eight folds with combination of blankets and bed mats that served as an incubator. She was untimely born because her mother has to work in the farm for living after being pregnant in her teenage years right after running away and eloped. The baby’s physical body is so delicate. You will never hear her crying because her plea is as soft as cry of a cab. She wanted to live, to struggle for existence, and experience joy and happiness that life has to offer.
It was my tragic and horrible childhood story…
From the moment I gain my consciousness, I would remember waking up in a white painted room with comfortable beds, with oxygen tanks on the side and its hose to my nose, dextrose needle at the back of my hand, and constantly ill aching body. The doctor told my parents that I would not survive for long due to weak immunity and many other complications. They felt devastated.
When I was 2 yrs old, I thought dextrose as my milk, antibiotics as my vitamins, and allergy creams as my lotion. Literally, I grew up in the hospital. I spent my first four years living inside the hospital. I had my first step when I was already four years old. I am such a weakling, no strength, bony and unable to stand on my own. It was by the patience and assistance of my grandmother that helped me to stride normally. Her sacrifices for me were insurmountable. We used to visit a Saint Patron Mama Mary Milagrosa to take a vow for another miracle to extend my life.
Throughout my younger years, I was sickly. My lungs were so weak and I need always an extra care because from time to time, I and my grandmother will visit the hospital soon. I also thought the hospital was my second home. I have been exposed to dreaded diseases such as diphtheria where I was totally feeling choked and unable to breath.
Growing up was not so easy. In my grade school days, I wish to play along with my classmates yet my body won’t cooperate. In short period of time after a short walk or run, I would catch my breath. I thought I was cursed for having a fragile body. But I never gave up…
Right from a very young age, I was so determined and convicted that there are simple hacks of life. That life has all its purpose and meaning. That everybody is special and unique in their own ways. That everybody has the right and claim a happy and fulfilled existence.
In my struggle to find the answers, I developed talents, skills, and equipped myself through different exposures and opportunities laid on my way. At a very young age, books and other reading materials are my friends and my treasures.
After reading in a magazine the concept of YOGA, I immediately felt an attraction for it because it portrayed a peaceful lifestyle. It started my curiosity and searched for it. I was clueless where it was heading me until I met individuals who seriously live a fulltime yogic lifestyle. With their association, I learnt the basics from Yoga Asanas (physical exercises) up to Yoga Meditation (Mind and Spiritual nourishments).
Twelve years on the track, I embraced a yoga lifestyle of pure vegetarian diet, No meat eating, eggs, and fish, no elicit sex, no gambling, and no intoxications.
I felt the gradual physical changes and mindsets. It was a journey of going within, a reconnection with your inner self and the Supreme Soul in love and devotion--- a confidential relationship that transcends beyond space and time. Thus, emanates in my existence, physically giving me vigor, optimum health, and longevity while filling my inner cravings of true happiness and satisfaction.
Now, it is time to give back… After years and years of research, actual experiences, and giving services to individuals in their health struggles, I was with them in their journey for transformations.
Being grateful with the opportunities given and the skills and talents bestowed upon me, I developed this program to assist individuals in their journey to health and wellness. It is anchored in the Science of Yoga and Ayurveda with modern health and developments making it practical, easy, and doable. I do hope that anyone who will take this seriously will experience a life full of joy, meaningful, and peaceful existence.
I am your well wisher towards your journey to optimum health and wellness.
