The North Central Wisconsin Coed Church Softball League was originally organized in 1950 as the Little Rib Lutheran Softball League. The league also operated under the name Little Rib Church Softball League. In 1995 the league changed its name to the Merrill Area Church Fast Pitch Softball League before its current name was established in the fall of 2021.
Play first began in a sand pit on the corner of Marathon County Trunk Highway O and Woodland Drive.
Since then the league has used diamonds in Marathon City as well as Westfall's Bar, Eddie's Bar, Pike's Bar, Noyne's Bar, Knotty Pine Bar, Ott's Park in Merrill. Currently diamonds used are at Faith Lutheran Church (Village of Maine), Immanuel Lutheran Church (Town of Corning) and St. John's Lutheran Church (Town of Hamburg).
