NCU Geotechnical Centrifuge is made by ACTIDYN, French.
The capacity of the centrifuge is 100 g.ton.
A one-dimensional shaking table is equipped on the platform of the centrifuge. The shaking table can simulate sinusoidal wave, white noise and real earthquake with frequency range 0-250 Hz. The capacity of the shaking table is 80 g.400 kg.

The Experimental Center of Civil Engineering (ECCE) was inaugurated in 1994 and has been known as one of the largest and most important experimental center for civil engineering research in Taiwan. This center includes four laboratories: Structural Engineering Laboratory, Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory, Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory, and Wind Tunnel Laboratory. The Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory is equipped with the NCU geotechnical centrifuge (capacity of 100 g-ton) and shaking table (single-axis).
Our research includes (1) soil liquefaction, (2) tunnel and excavation, (3) riverbank and slope stability, (4) offshore wind turbine foundation, (5) geotechnical seismic isolation, (6) fault simulation, (7) reinforced retaining wall, (8) high-level waste disposal, and (9) soil-structure interaction.
