Those who share our counseling values are welcome to join our community. Licensed members of the North Central Texas Counseling Association are a diverse mixture of the licensed mental health provider community in Texas.

As a local chapter of the Texas Counseling Association, members of NCTCA are encouraged, but are not required, to also join TCA.

Members of NCTCA uphold and respect the values of TCA and the Code of Ethics espoused by the American Counseling Association.

Breakdown

All current members are able to attend our monthly CEU Workshop and receive up to 15 CEU credits per year.

Graduate & Doctoral Student: $25/yr

• • Doctoral students are able to join our mentoring cohort to help support their studies. Graduate and doctoral students can apply for an ex-officio board member status to learn and serve alongside our experienced executive team. *

Pre-Licensed Counselor: $50/yr

• • Pre-licensed members have the opportunity to receive discounted supervision from an NCTCA licensed supervisor (LPC-S) * (Rates are determined by the individual supervisor).

Fully-Licensed Counselor: $50/yr

• Admittance to all CEU Workshops is included in this rate. Over a 2-year cycle, we cover the legislated topics for renewal of LPC counseling license along with additional topics of current interest to our membership.*

Retired Legacy Member: $25/yr

• • We highly value generativity and aim for our legacy members to play a pivotal role in nurturing the development of our emerging counselors. Service on the executive board as a legacy member includes a Texas Counseling Association (TCA) membership.*
