Our current president, Jeremias Hernandez, MA, LPC, is a doctoral candidate in counselor education at Texas Tech University and a faculty member at Dallas Baptist University. A passionate advocate for the counseling profession, Jeremias dedicates much of his work to the growth and development of future counselors. In his free time, he enjoys taking on challenging culinary recipes.

Our chapter proudly has a long and rich history, with a legacy shaped by the involvement of many esteemed Texas Counseling Association (TCA) leaders. What sets us apart from other chapters is the depth of experience within our executive team and membership, spanning decades of service. Many of our members remain active counseling advocates far past retirement.

Our chapter is committed to continuously seeking out the most relevant and impactful counseling resources to support the ongoing education of our members. By offering virtual CE opportunities, we can effectively reach a diverse community of counselors, accommodating a wide range of schedules. Each month, we strive to feature dynamic experts who bring fresh perspectives and valuable insights to enhance our members' professional growth.
