Judging Details

The Talley Student Union third floor walkway areas will be available for student team set up between 12:15 PM and 12:45 PM. The teams should set up in the area designated for their project category: Health, Joy of Living, Security, or Sustainability.  

At 1:00 PM the event Welcome will take place and then at approximately 1:20 PM, Engineering Industry Judges and NC State Faculty will visit each team booth for 5 to 10 minutes and may revisit booths towards the end of the judging time frame. As a reminder, at least one team member should be at your booth at all times and ideally all of your team members would be at your booth when the Engineering Industry Judges visit. 

After all project evaluation is complete, an awards ceremony will take place where the teams who place will be announced and prizes will be awarded. All student teams selected to participate in this event will receive an Engineering Grand Challenges t-shirt.
